Necklace

For the bride who wants something different and has guts, an elegant necklace. Many holographic "diamonds" are incorporated into this foundation on 1mm thin brown aluminum wire. These are all braided together to the right shape. On and between these, all materials are glued in brown, dark pink, dark red, bordeaux and purple tones. The flowers incorporated are Talinum 'Long John', Clematis, orchids, Scabiosa, hyacinth nails, Madiba chrysanthemums, Ludisia leaf and Tillandsia 'Hermosa' leaf.

Ode to Aruba

The base is a boat form of Lunaria made by the gluing technique. The boat is filled with zinc fern (Phlebodium 'Blue Star'), Brunia, pampas grass (Cortaderia), silver bush (Calocephalus) and reused roots of Phalaenopsis. Cream-colored baubles and a petrified desert rose add a Christmas touch.

Inspiration for the materials used is Christmas in Aruba where tufts of pampas grass always play a role. 'Brunia brings to mind coral, zinc fern leaf to seaweed and Lunaria to shells.'

Kurisumasu keki

Prior to the holiday season, pastry stores all over Japan display their finest creations. As such, the Christmas cake, kurisumasu keki, is one of
the highlights of Japanese Christmas, a time full of romance and lights. For this floral Japanese Christmas cake with two layers, the base is made of Kalanchoe leaf and moss. Added to this are sprigs of Callicarpa, Rosa 'Country Blues', Hydrangea, Pinus strobus and rose-red Zantedeschia. Tufts of silver bush (Calocephalus) and champagne-colored baubles form festive accents.

Eyecatcher

A gold-colored garden vase is always in for a festive arrangement, whether indoors or outdoors. The naked outline of a Viburnum branch and tree bark elements form a beautiful base for this pure arrangement with crooked branches of Ilex verticillata 'Winter Gold' and an XXL pine cone as an eye-catcher. Accents of sycamore balls and Araucaria sprigs give the arrangement something frivolous.

Stylish fireplace arrangement

The base is a robust stump combined with crooked branches Ilex verticillata 'Winter Gold', old Larix branches, white coralberry (Symphoricarpos), white Zantedeschia, zinc fern (Phlebodium 'Blue Star'), Pinus strobus, bromeliad and Rosa 'Country Blues'.

Line play

This play of curved lines requires supreme concentration and patience while creating. In terms of material it is surprising, the bamboo comes from a recycled curtain and the corners are made of straws - this technique was devised by Sogetsu teacher Julia Op den Brouw. In the simple vases, Sorbus rockii 'Pink Pearl' comes out beautifully in combination with Cryptomeria 'Crystata'.
