Floating in equilibrium
At the origin of this floating
creation is a beautifully shaped branch.
All the botanical materials, such as the branch, chamber pines, Amaryllis, Vanda, Anthurium, Clematis fluff as well as the metal sprite lines and leaves themselves determine the direction of this work that finds itself
between heaviness and breath. It is not
bound to ground or ceiling but
floating in balance. The in-between space
is also point of rest. There where light and
direction meet.
Texture bouquet
An airy fixture of thick copper wire forms the basis for a rich autumn bouquet with graphic materials and distinct textures. The bouquet incorporates the following materials: Aralia, Physalis (lantern plant), Anthurium, rose hips, Crocosmia, Phormium, Rodgersia, Leonotis, Eucomis, Rudbeckia and Sorghum.
Minimalism
Inspired by the Japanese art of Ikebana, this refined composition follows the principle of 'less is more', showing respect for each individual material. A clear glass vase is filled exclusively with compostable elements. The flower stems are supported by an internal latticework of Cornus branches, creating a clean, elegant composition without the use of floral foam or wire. The design cleverly utilizes negative space, highlighting the unique beauty of each flower.
Natural dialogue
This airy, organic arrangement is based on a handmade bowl made of recycled wooden slats and clay. From this natural foundation rise metal rods to which a network of spent quince branches is attached. A homemade leaf made of iron is carefully integrated into the composition. The materials used are fringed tulips, Allium, Anthurium, and flower clusters of Pieris. Jasmine vines meander around the construction, reinforcing the interaction between flowers and branches. Extra details such as Eucalyptus fruits and a moss-covered trunk give the work a rough, natural texture.
Wooden cylinders
In this ceramic bowl, various sizes of bare wood cylinders are placed – leftover wood from a stair maker. Many glass tubes of different sizes are clamped between the cylinders – this allows you to reuse the base endlessly. Many special varieties are incorporated into the tubes, such as beautiful fern curls, various orchids, Ranunculus, Ludisia, Clematis, Gloriosa, Talinum 'Long John', and beautiful, very dark Anthurium.
In Balance
For the base, a vase has been chosen in the same colors as the
arrangement. Subsequently, six black pokes are wrapped
with brown painter's tape, inserted into an Oasis Bio wreath and
bent and secured so that the wreath is higher on one side. The six
pokes are tied to a binding point so that they fit well in and
on the vase. Subsequently, dark brown rustic wire is wrapped
around the wreath in large strokes and secured downwards in a
waterfall shape.
First, the pink hydrangea and lisianthus varieties,
'Sabrina Orange' and 'Terracotta', are inserted. Subsequently, 'air'
is created with the other flowers: orange Gloriosa, hanging
Amaranthus, rosehip 'Zaffiro', Anthurium, orange spray
chrysanthemum, salmon-colored spray rose, Syngonium leaf, Rosa
'Esmeralda' and disbudded chrysanthemum. All flowers follow
the line of the waterfall-shaped construction. All tendrils and
long flower stems are additionally secured with binding wire.
