Stability with a natural look

Magdalena Kahlima used Oasis aluminum wire to construct the bouquets. "This offers precision and stability, while remaining light and natural in appearance. Technical elements remain visible and are deliberately integrated into the overall design."

This bouquet included Astrantia 'Star of Love', tulips 'Fra La Romaine', Talinum paniculatum 'Long John', Myrica gale, Cornus alba 'Sibirica', and lisianthus.

Variation

Magdalena Kahlina created this bouquet using Astrantia 'Star of Love', Dianthus 'Hypnosis', ranunculus 'Elegance Red', seed heads of Scabiosa stellata, and Talinum paniculatum 'Long John', among other flowers.

‘My floral language is rooted in a balance between clarity of form and sensitivity to plant material. Space, silence, and the relationships between the elements play an essential role. Simplicity, refinement, and respect for the natural character of flowers form the basis of my creative approach.’

Circular

Sunflower stems, usually waste material, were given a second life in this work as a structural basis. Brought together and bent, they form an open, circular support in which form and function coincide.

Clematis 'Kansas', Astrantia, Gloriosa 'Fifty Shades', Talinum 'Long John', Mimosa, and rose 'Princess Aikto' are incorporated loosely and airily into this natural structure. Fine textures and playful shapes alternate to reinforce the organic character. The reuse of materials not only gives the work a distinctive look, but also a sustainable story. What was once discarded is now the foundation: an aesthetic and conscious choice.

Serene

This 3D-printed base is filled with Smithers Oasis Bio foam and packed with a mix of flowers and colors. The brown tones symbolize the bare trees in winter, and the soft pastel shades are reminiscent of spring. This work features Astrantia, Ammi visnaga, Clematis Amazing Kibo, Papaver, tulips, ranunculus, Talinum 'Long John', Panicum Skygras, Sanguisorba, carnations, and Phalaenopsis.

Subdued

A square sheet of styropor is pasted on the sides and top with prepared Cobra Leaves. The underside is finished with felt. An Oasis Bio Solo Ring is attached in the center of the plate with Nobilis sprigs inserted into it. Inserted between these are a selection of fresh flowers such as Hypericum, Clematis Amazing Kibo, Talinum 'Long John', Helleborus 'Mammoth Red', Astrantia 'Star of Desire', lisianthus and Cymbidium. Also incorporated is a string of LED lights, as well as small Christmas balls and pine cones. For a little more elan, needles were rustled from the Nobilis branches and sprinkled over the Cobra Leaves.
