Pastel Connected
The Oasis Black Eychenne cross symbolizes faith, while the generous vases show that saying goodbye can also take on an exuberant form. They are filled with Delphinium ‘Guardian Lavender,’ combined with Clematis ‘Amazing Kansas,’ Scabiosa BonBon Scoop ‘French Vanilla,’ and grasses. The soft pastel hues complement the colored light filtering through the stained-glass windows.
Wavy
This arrangement fully complies with the regulations of a natural burial ground and may remain in place. The base is a new floral foam form from Smithers Oasis, whose outer edges are filled with the flower heads of Eryngium ‘Sirius Questar’. The undulating line is repeated lengthwise, featuring Clematis ‘Amazing Vienna’, Polianthes ‘Elsa Blush’, and Pennisetum. The stems support one another and sway together in the wind. All flowers have been pre-treated with FloraLife QuickDip.
Love in Simplicity
At the heart of this Oasis Biolit arrangement, Hypericum ‘Sisu Charm,’ Agapanthus ‘Gletsjer,’ and Clematis ‘Amazing Kibo’ form the foundation. A sturdy branch cuts through the green-and-white composition like a broken lifeline. In this way, the arrangement symbolizes a young, innocent life that was just beginning and was suddenly cut short: love in its simplest form.
Transparent base
This bouquet was created using a 3D pen. I chose transparent filament for this project, but it’s available in all sorts of colors. For example, the bouquet takes on a completely different look in pink, yellow, or gold. Once the base was ready, I attached a simple handle using black florist’s wire. This forms the base of this hand-tied bridal bouquet. The flowers used are ranunculus, scabiosa, clematis, clematis ‘Kibo’ (feathery), white grape hyacinths, aster, and a few tendrils of Ceropegia woodii.
Ring pillow with a bold design
For this ring pillow, I used cold glue to cover an old pillow with dried clematis ‘Kibo’ blossoms. These last a very long time, so the bride and groom will have a beautiful keepsake. The rings are attached to the pillow with a few strands of thread. Of course, a few beautiful flowers are a must. I chose two Clematis ‘Sevilla’ flowers as a statement: they symbolize two people who want to share their lives together.
Craspedia heart
A Smithers Oasis bio-foam base was used for this ring pillow. The outer edge is finished with dried Craspedia flowers from Marginpar, strung on wire. These have a long shelf life because they are dried before being arranged. The interior is made with fresh flowers: Limonium cut into short pieces as a base, with ranunculus, Gloriosa, Clematis ‘Kibo’ (feathers), and mini Cymbidium arranged among them. The rings are secured in the center with two pieces of aluminum wire.
