Indian summer
Dried sunflower stems of various lengths are glued around an Oasis wreath. These stems are a harbinger of autumn. The whole is covered with orange candle wax. Various flowers are inserted into the floral foam wreath, including Dianthus ‘Green Trick’, nutans (Leucospermum cordifolium), Dahlia, Freesia, Tillandsia, Heliopsis, Stipa grasses, Crocosmia and Begonia leaf. Glass test tubes have been placed in some sunflower stems, in which flowers have also been placed. The Indian summer color scheme emphasizes the autumn period.
Layered Bulbs
A stack of nuts and polystyrene balls in various sizes is glued onto an iron pin. The polystyrene balls are coated with terracotta-colored clay. Bromelia plants are placed in some of the nuts. Glass vials are clamped in the remaining openings, in which Dahlia flowers and spotted leaves of Begonia maculata are inserted. The conscious choice was made for one type of flower with a round shape. To reinforce the design of the arrangement, the round shapes are reflected in all materials used. As a finishing touch, seed pods of Eucalyptus ‘Bellgum’ and mossy twigs are glued between the round shapes.
Lush
In the vase is a pot with Juncus 'Spiralis', a delightful plant that can tolerate plenty of water. In the space between the pot and the vase, various green and foliage materials are inserted in a layer of water to create a lush effect. The beautiful pompom flowers, together with the red and white dahlias, complete the arrangement. An arrangement that can be used multiple times by occasionally replacing a flower.
Picked, tied
This large, impressive bouquet has a green base of various fern leaves and grasses from the garden and the ditch bank. In between are beautiful red and white dahlias, the eye-catchers in this lush bouquet. The binding point is finished with raffia.
Botanical elegance
This round arrangement is set on an Oasis Nature BioBase wreath (Ø 41cm) with the edge coarsely finished with sheet moss for a botanical effect. The inspiration is a colorful picking garden – with a focus on garden roses. The arrangement is made upright (like shapes in a garden) from a beautiful mix of Gerbera ‘Pasta Rosata’, Dahlia ‘Pink Magic’, Rosa ‘New Design’, Clematis ‘Star River’ and Asclepias ‘Soulmate’. The lilac Clematis provides an exciting contrast. As a detail, small copper leaves are strung and hung along the stems.
Circle full of power
A circle radiates strength, is protective but also stands for perfection, infinity and friendship: characteristics that can symbolize the deceased. The base is a cardboard cat bed. The cardboard harmonica forms a beautiful natural base that can be unfolded in various round shapes. The shape is placed on a glass dish, then glass test tubes are placed in the openings of the harmonica. With loose (dried) flowers without glass, it is a nice alternative to a natural burial site – then it can completely blend into nature. Here, the glass tubes are filled with Abelia, Astrantia, Clematis, Crocosmia, Dahlia, Gomphrena, Houttuynia, Rubus, Scabiosa, Sempervivum and Viburnum.
