Kurisumasu keki

Prior to the holiday season, pastry stores all over Japan display their finest creations. As such, the Christmas cake, kurisumasu keki, is one of
the highlights of Japanese Christmas, a time full of romance and lights. For this floral Japanese Christmas cake with two layers, the base is made of Kalanchoe leaf and moss. Added to this are sprigs of Callicarpa, Rosa 'Country Blues', Hydrangea, Pinus strobus and rose-red Zantedeschia. Tufts of silver bush (Calocephalus) and champagne-colored baubles form festive accents.

Xmas tree duet

The base of these abstract Christmas trees is concrete painted in a copper color. Inside this base is a copper tube containing brown aluminum wire (5 mm) bent into a Christmas tree shape. Within the shape, with a
number of strokes of copper wire placed
to which the branches and Christmas decorations are attached. This base is reusable every year. The natural Christmas decoration consists of very strong leaf species such as Kalanchoe and Tillandsia 'Hermosa'.

Christmas Gala

This body deco is wonderful to wear at a Christmas gala
or event. In order to create a nice warm feeling during the cold winter and Christmas days, we have worked with cuddly, soft and furry materials.

For the base of the background, wooden snow stars were put piece-by-piece on wire after which they were twisted into branches and put together. These snow stars have beautiful shades to match the flowers and other materials. Davallia roots, various Kalanchoe leaf varieties, Cambria orchids, Clematis (including C. Amazing Kibo) and Scabiosa were glued to the base with cold glue from Smithers Oasis.
