'I normally steer clear of red, white and blue,' she admits, 'but I'm really pleased with how it turned out. It was time to show something different.' Garden bouquet
For the base of this hand-tied garden bouquet, a large branched head of wild dill from the roadside was used. Other flowers such as Rosa 'Darlington', Gerbera 'Pasta Rosata', Anemone 'September Charm', Gloriosa 'Rothschildiana', Lilium 'Red Velvet' and Clematis 'Star River' are incorporated into a hand-tied sheaf bouquet, the pinkish-red roses from our own garden complete the picture. The bouquet is placed in a blue luster earthenware pot. Graceful tendrils of the passionflower are wrapped around the entire bouquet, stripped Asparagus branches provide an airy effect.
