Intertwined

A traditional Typha weave forms a natural base that determines both shape and structure. The green grid functions as both a construction and a visual statement, into which the flowers are woven. Within this base, a bouquet has been composed of Cymbidium, French tulips, Gloriosa 'Fifty Shades', Clematis 'Kansas', poppies, daffodils, and 'Princess Akito' roses. Each flower has been chosen for its texture, lines, and characteristic shape. The alternation between petals, stems, and whimsical movements creates tension and rhythm.

First, two different sizes of Oasis Biolit Bio dishes are filled with branches, after which the flowers are incorporated. Floral materials used: Narcissus, Clematis, Crocosmia, Sanguisorba and Salix. The edge of the floral foam is finished with Muscari bulbs that are clamped between the floral foam and the edge of the dishes. Butterflies folded from paper provide an extra spring feeling.

Soft yellow softness

World Bee Day (May 20) highlights the importance of bees for our nature and food supply. By stimulating organic flowers and reducing the use of pesticides, we create a safe and healthy environment for these indispensable pollinators – and for ourselves. Vases made of beeswax, filled with soft pastel-colored flowers, form a lasting tribute to the bees themselves. Narcissus ‘Bridal Crown’, Ranunculus ‘Hanoi’, Scabiosa ‘Vanilla’, accentuate the vulnerability and beauty of nature.

Blooming simplicity

Solidago ‘Caran Glory’ is arranged with a very consistent movement in a wreath shape on a base of Oasis Floral Foam Bio. In the resulting open center space, Narcissus ‘Dutch Master’ and Narcissus ‘Tête-à-Tête’ are arranged short, with some offshoots extending halfway into the Solidago wreath shape.

Silence still life
