Hanneke stepped outside her usual pastel palette for this piece, embracing hues she often avoids. ‘I normally steer clear of red, white and blue,’ she admits, ‘but I’m really pleased with how it turned out. It was time to show something different.’ The result is a colourful, confident design full of character and movement.
Langs de waterkant
Gedroogde zonnebloemstelen zijn de basis van deze mooi smalle en hoge constructie. De gedroogde Typha sigaren vormen de hoogte van dit zomerse arrangement. Bloemen in blauwtinten, Centaurea, Delphinium, Scabiosa en Clematis ‘Star River’ vormen samen met de frisse groene grassen een sfeervol ‘langs de waterkant’ tafereel.
Aaibaar
Aan een Oasis lady rond bruidsboekethouder is een steel gemaakt van draad, het geheel is goudkleurig gespoten. Om het lekkerder in de hand te laten liggen is de onderkant beplakt met stukjes wol. Aan de buitenzijde is met warme lijm fluffy Stipa gras geplakt, wat het een uitermate aaibaar uiterlijk geeft. Om ook de rand mooi af te werken zijn hierop steentjes geplakt in dezelfde kleur. De bloemen, lisianthus, Scabiosa, gipskruid en anjer, zijn gestoken, vervolgens zijn hierop Peperomia- en Begonia blad en een jasmijnrankje gelijmd.
