Light and airy
This composition was designed for a hotel lobby and deliberately responds to the scale of the space. Krisztian Köver worked with Cymbidium, Phalaenopsis, and Viburnum as the main materials. The airiness is created by the use of Cornus branches and onion-like leaves, attached to thin bamboo sticks. Aluminum wire spirals are incorporated into the transparent vase, ensuring that the arrangement not only
remains visually light, but also stands out thanks to the sustainable choice of materials.
Ode to the tulip
Simplicity in multiples (and repetition) often creates the most beautiful arrangements. The trick is to find the right balance and keep the whole thing exciting to look at with a little imperfection. This arrangement is a contemporary take on the old-fashioned tulip vase. By arranging the blossoms widely, with long tulips, delicate Scabiosa, and fresh green Viburnum in between, this ode to the tulip was created.
Harmonious
These vintage hanging vases from Cor Unum are each individually arranged and together form a harmonious spring bouquet. Featuring French tulips, clematis, irises, nerine, and viburnum, this bouquet is a real eye-catcher above the dining table.
Intertwined
This arrangement features a hand-knotted, semi-circular frame made from 1.4 mm black floral wire. Woven through the structure are a variety of roadside grasses and seed pods, creating a natural, textural base. The frame is placed over a large bowl filled with water, the whole thing is placed on a glass cake stand to give the piece height and elegance. The flowers are arranged directly into water - no floral foam required. While the materials are biodegradable, the frame itself is durable and can be reused many times.
Love tendrils
The base for this bridal bouquet is an Oasis bridy bridal bouquet holder. The insertion technique was used. The chosen flowers are Clematis, Lathyrus, Viburnum, and Stephanotis bridal flower tendrils in cream and lilac shades. Together with the fine structure of Talinum 'Long John', it becomes a graceful and refined whole of love vines.
In balance
The base consists of a beautiful square dish with three specimens of
the new corner shape from Smithers-Oasis, the Bioline Bio Half Quadro. Elaeagnus leaves (back side up)
are attached to the wooden part of the corner shapes with a staple gun.
To create height differences and dimension in the creation, two shapes are attached
to each other on one side of the dish, and one shape is placed on the other side.
Then, Viburnum davidii berries are inserted shortly into the floral foam; the pale
back of the olive willow leaf contrasts nicely with the dark Viburnum davidii berries.
The whole is finished with mossy branches and Symphoricarpos berries, with some
ornamental pears (Pyrus calleryana) in the middle.
