Round and round we go

For the first time prominently in Hall 5, the German Florists Association (FDF) presented an inspiring meeting place created for professionals in the floral industry during IPM Essen. The legendary rotating stage is rightly the centerpiece, with a number of inspiring flower shows by international and German top florists daily. But not only the stage revolves: circles and round (flower) shapes also play a major role in the arrangements.

Inspiring flower shows during IPM

The German Florists Association (FDF) organized daily flower shows in Hall 5 during the IPM Essen trade fair. The event took place from January 28 to 31 at Messe Essen. FDF created a meeting place for professionals in the floral industry, called FDF World, where trends and ideas were presented. These were developed by FDF art director Manfred Hoffmann and floral designer Oliver Ferchland.

Green and flowers as a lifestyle

Upon entering, visitors are immediately struck by the pleasant and convivial atmosphere of the Trade Fair Aalsmeer. The beautiful presentations of plants and flowers add substance to the profession. While there aren't a plethora of groundbreaking innovations, the event provides an excellent and enjoyable overview of the versatility and strength of the Dutch floricultural sector.
