Luxury in harmony with nature

In the theme Luxury in harmony with nature, connection with nature plays a leading role. The arrangers have chosen mostly traditional techniques and natural materials. The appearance is that of grandeur and exclusivity. Festive yet understated. Serene but also cozy and warm.

Winter Challenge

To move from the colorful fall to winter is a different mindset for many people. Not that the colors completely disappear from the landscape, but it's all a bit more subtle and monochromatic. For florists, especially those who want to work more sustainably, that can be a challenge. Getting into the shell of nature, the bare branches with larch or pine cones, the evergreen greenery, mosses and dried tendrils - it takes some adjusting.

Farewell with flowers: latest trends

With farewell flower arrangements, a florist can create significant added value during a funeral. On the initiative of VBW, Smithers-Oasis and Groothandelscentrum Plantion, the Funeral Event was held in Ede on March 5. During the event the focus was on various new trends that are playing in the funeral world. For example, the natural burial ground is on the rise, coffins are increasingly taking the place of traditional coffins and there is increasing demand for urn decorations.

Mysterious autumn

The bamboo stick is set on an iron pin and the two wreaths, Oasis Naylorbase ring (Ø 25cm), are attached to each other with waterproof tape. This creates depth. The sides are pasted with leaves of Populus alba. On both wreaths a thin layer of Tillandsia has been placed after which the whole is filled with poppy bulbs. The crocheted spider web is made of metallic sewing thread and attached to the back with waterproof tape. A very small subtle tendril was added as a finishing touch.
