'Follow your feeling, make a translation'
Florist Sjacco Gerritsen is happy about the summer. 'The theme summer is great! When winter is over and spring begins, everything blossoms and colors come to life; that makes you happy, doesn't it?'

‘I mainly get my inspiration from nature, there are so many beautiful shapes, colors, and scents. Let nature influence you. Look around you and you will see beautiful fields with extending green grass, among which you can discover more and more flowering flowers. Isn't that happiness?’
‘In my arrangements, I only use seasonal flowers. I don't have a specific preference, but wild flowers, grasses, and sprawling branches make me very happy. Trends? Above all, do what makes you happy, whether it's trendy or not. What I often do is mix everything together in all colors, or just use that one branch or flower. Follow your feelings and make a translation.’
Layered contrast
A base has been created in an ascending shape with 'bowty twig' branches. The flowers inserted between the twigs add their own accent: the graceful grassy character of Chasmanthium and the refined elegance of Triteleia form a fascinating contrast and layering. The pink Freesia picks up the cool tones and adds a warm touch to the whole.
Character Heart
A sustainable BIO Oasis heart shape is divided into two contrasting halves, giving the whole a striking and modern look. One side is decorated with robust driftwood, which provides a natural look. The other half of the heart is richly filled with Rosa ‘La Paloma’. Delicate orchids break the clean lines and create a playful effect. A powerful and elegant arrangement, suitable for various occasions.
Seashell wreath
A BIO wreath from Oasis forms the sustainable base. On top of this is a straw wreath that is completely covered with shells, carefully stacked for a playful and natural effect. Shells (on sticks) are also incorporated between the flowers. The addition of pink Rosa ‘Star Trek’, Achillea, Eustoma, Gerbera and Freesia makes this arrangement a harmonious whole.
Contemporary botanical
This striking object is constructed on a robust hardwood base, which provides a stable and stylish foundation. On top, iron pins, tightly wrapped with gold-colored wrapping wire, form a powerful interplay of lines with a luxurious appearance. Dried Buddha nuts are attached to the wrapping wire, in which small flowering cacti are glued. A modern and botanical object that comes into its own in a contemporary interior.
Sunny summer
Approximately fifteen leaves have been shaped from poke. These are then wrapped with Oasis paper wire. A frame is formed from the loose leaves by attaching them to each other with tonkin sticks. This provides a playful yet sturdy base for the bouquet. The flowers exude summer. The delicate, blue-purple hues of the Delphinium combine beautifully with the yellow spherical Craspedia flowers. The bright green snowball enhances the overall color scheme. Together, they create a cheerful and lively arrangement that perfectly complements the light, sunny summer days.
