What nature gives us
Amidst all the midwinter decorations, you sometimes wonder what it would be like if nothing came from a heated greenhouse, if it had to be local, seasonal. Then you look around and discover materials that may be somewhat underexposed. This makes it all a little less colorful, but no less fascinating.
‘Flowers must speak’
Atmosphere creator Frederiek van Pamel, works intensively with flowers, plants and decoration for interiors, gardens and parties. 'Atmosphere and experience are two key words for me. We are currently fed by social media and everything that can be seen on the phone. You can't just put something down: people want more.'
Feuilles Mortes
An article about the atmosphere of autumn. Then it is all too tempting to use the title ‘Feuilles Mortes’. The French title (literally: dead leaves) refers to a song by Yves Montand in which the melancholic atmosphere of autumn, with its fallen leaves, plays a role. But this beautiful sadness is only one element of autumn.

Summer Zinnia: Abundance from the picking garden
The exuberance of summer comes in different variations. The yellow cornfield with blue cornflowers and red poppies is technically the icon of summer in terms of color. Color against color reigns. The assortment includes many colorful flowers in which blues are now well represented. Zinnia occupies its own place in this whole.

Moniek Vanden Berghe has been at the top of the European floristry world for many years. At major events such as Fleuramour, there is a beautiful presentation of her work to be seen every year, and recently at the Ghent Floralies she showed a monumental floral work inspired by the Lamb of God by the Van Eyck brothers.
