Mirror

A good number of rolled Magnolia leaves, with the velvety brown side to the outside, are connected by cocktail sticks. An aluminum bowl, in the same brownish shade, is filled with these rolls. In this arrangement, flowers of Clematis Amazing Seville are incorporated in mirror form of the bowl. Also note the mirroring of the shape and color of the Magnolia rolls in the buds and petals.

Catchy blue

Using a Kenzan ring is extremely durable. Start with the thinner stems and clamp them between the pins, so to speak. Then work up to thicker stems each time. Cut the ends of the stems straight off with very sharp (Ikebana) flower scissors to get the most force out of the clamping. Materials used: Delphinium and Clematis. Chasmantium latifolium grasses and Sorghum complete the arrangement.

Along the waterfront

Dried sunflower stems are the base of this beautifully narrow and tall construction. Dried Typha cigars form the height of this summer arrangement. Flowers in shades of blue, Centaurea, Delphinium, Scabiosa and Clematis 'Star River' along with the fresh green grasses form an attractive 'along the waterfront' scene.

Airy lilac

The base of this sophisticated fan-shaped bridal bouquet is made of rustic wire. This is attached to a curved wire wrapped with copper-colored bouillon wire - creating a fan shape. To create more airiness, brown fiber twine was attached to the base. Then in this base, the hand-tied bouquet is arranged with Scabiosa, carnation, Clematis, Limonium, Clematis fluff, stripped Asparagus and jasmine vines in shades of pink, cream and lilac. The stems are finished with a lilac colored ribbon.

Ring Heart

For this ring pillow, very symbolically a heart shape was chosen. First of all, the basic shape balled up with plaster on a BIO heart from Smithers Oasis. Then beautiful, soft pink flowers were incorporated in between. Polianthes tuberosa, Scabiosa and Clematis work beautifully together in this.
