“Wedding arrangements are floral jewels”

Belgian floral designer Chantal Post completed the master’s program in Floral Art in Vught. As president of the Belgian florists’ association Be-Florist, she has been working since 2021 to promote the floristry profession and support florists.
In 2024, she won the title of Belgian National Champion at Féerie Florale in Alden Biesen. This victory immediately earned her a spot in the World Cup Floral Art in The Hague (2025), where she placed eighth.
“I love refined techniques, luxurious materials, and beautiful, unique flowers. To me, bridal bouquets are the epitome of sophistication. My bridal creations become floral jewels that add an extra dimension to the bride and her wedding dress.”
Timelessly charming

This round bridal bouquet combines timeless charm with elegant contrasts. The Helleborus ‘Classic One’, in a very dark burgundy shade, is accentuated by the delicate contrast with the David Austin rose ‘Keira’. The arrangement also features Chrysanthemum ‘Santini Doria Pink’ and Dianthus ‘Ledge Pink’, which add refinement and floral harmony. Delicate grasses of Sanguisorba ‘Red Dream’ have also been subtly incorporated into the composition. All the flowers are brought together in a structured arrangement, finished with tricolor foliage. This foliage envelops and supports the bouquet, thereby enhancing its classic, compact, and distinctly romantic appearance.
Flowers for a personal touch

The most beautiful day of your life calls for floral arrangements that go beyond mere decoration: it calls for a piece that tells a story and enhances the wearer’s personality. In this in-depth special from DPK Floral Magazine
we DPK Floral Magazine how the boundaries of the
traditional bridal bouquet are blurring, giving way to floral art.
‘I like to put my creativity to the test’

Chantal Post loves the different aspects of the profession: a flower shop, decorating events, and sharing knowledge through workshops and demonstrations. With an undeniable passion for the profession, she has worked her way to the top in the Belgian floristry community. Last year, she crowned herself Belgian champion and will soon represent her country at the World Championships in The Hague. What drives her? How is she preparing for this prestigious competition?
Tender spring

This sheaf-tied bouquet contains a range of all possible trendy spring colors: Anemone, Muscari, Ranunculus, Hyacinthus. Salmon-colored hares tails (Lagurus) play a leading role and provide an endearing accent.
Spring luxury

The basic form of this arrangement is an iron frame to which willow catkins (Salix) are attached with binding wire. The construction is placed in a glass bowl. The longest flower stems, such as Polianthes, are placed first, and the shortest ones last. Each flower stem is attached to the construction with binding wire. Spring flowers in pastels add color: Jasminum, Hyacinthus, Ranunculus, Anemone.
