Nicolaus Peters (1969) is a German master florist, specializing in ikebana. His passion for Japanese floral art began in 1988 and has shaped his career. He graduated in horticulture in 1994 and obtained his florist diploma in 1999. In 2005, he became a Master Florist and in 2006 a Master Instructor in ikebana (rank 'Komon').

Nicolaus won the German Floristry Championship in 2008 and has since won several international awards, including gold at the Singapore Garden Festival (2016) and the Fleurop Interflora World Cup world title (2023).

He has been running Meisterfloristik Nicolaus Peters in Berlin for almost twenty years and is an internationally respected teacher who trains both beginners and advanced students in ikebana.
