National Action Day puts the profession of florist in the spotlight

Be-Florist, together with all Flemish schools and day training centers for floristry and green decoration, is organizing a National Action Day on Friday, March 21. For the first time, all participating schools are working together across networks on this initiative. Goal: to inspire young people to choose a future in this creative and versatile sector.
Collaboration and craftsmanship at Euroveiling
From 9 a.m., students and instructors will gather at Euroveiling in Brussels for a joint floral arrangement project. This project not only highlights their craftsmanship and creativity but also showcases the passion inherent in the florist profession.

Flowers bring joy to Brussels
At 3 p.m., the participants will head to Brussels Central Station, where they will distribute their floral creations to passersby. This initiative aims to raise awareness for the florist profession and provide a colorful surprise in the city.

A sector with a future
With this action day, Be-Florist aims to introduce young people to the opportunities within the florist profession. Interested parties can obtain information about training programs and career opportunities during the event.

Participating schools
The following schools, among others, are participating in the action day: Tectura Melle, PTI Kortrijk, Pito Stabroek, De Wijnpers Leuven, Scheppersinstituut Wetteren, Horteco Vilvoorde, and Atheneum Heist..
