Be-Florist, together with all Flemish schools and day training centers for florist and green decoration, is organizing a National Action Day on Friday, March 21. For the first time, all schools involved are working together cross-network on this initiative. Goal: inspire young people to choose a future in this creative and versatile sector.
Cooperation and craftsmanship at Euroveiling
Starting at 9 a.m., students and educators gather at Euroveiling in Brussels for a joint floral arrangement project. This project not only highlights their craftsmanship and creativity, but also shows the passion that the floristry profession brings.
Flowers bring joy to Brussels
At 3 p.m., the participants head to Brussels Central Station, where they hand out their flower arrangements to passersby. With this action, they draw attention to the florist profession and bring a colorful surprise to the city.
A sector with a future
With this action day, Be-Florist wants to introduce young people to the opportunities within the floristry profession. Interested parties can obtain information about training and career opportunities during the event.
Participating schools
Among others, the following schools participate in the action day: Tectura Melle, PTI Kortrijk, Pito Stabroek, De Wijnpers Leuven, Scheppersinstituut Wetteren, Horteco Vilvoorde and Atheneum Heist.
