“Master Florists” follows the spring and summer issues, “Special Days” and “Remarkable Events.” The new issue focuses on the deeper color shades of classic cut hydrangeas, featuring warm, earthy tones for fall arrangements.
In addition to the magazine, a video will be released in which floral designer Hanneke Frankema explains the difference between fresh and classic cut hydrangeas. Both come from the same plant; the time of harvest determines which category the flower belongs to.
Starting around mid-April, cut hydrangeas are supplied as “fresh.” Starting in August, “classics” are added to the lineup: flowers that have developed further in color and display deeper, often more layered shades. As the season progresses, the selection shifts increasingly toward “classics.”
The 2026 cut hydrangea catalog is also available for florists. It provides an overview of the "Fresh" and "Classic" assortments by color, with notes on new products and special varieties.
The publications are part of “Iconic Flower, Iconic Floristry,” Hydrangea World’s promotional campaign. This is an initiative of the hydrangea suppliers at Royal FloraHolland.
