Rooted in History Brings Floral Design to Hodsock Priory

From October 23 through 25, 2026, Hodsock Priory in Nottinghamshire, England, will serve as the setting for “Rooted in History,” a three-day floral design festival that brings together floral art and historic architecture.
During the festival, floral designers will present a number of botanical installations inspired by the history, architecture, and gardens of Hodsock Priory. The designs are created specifically for the location and, together, form a route through the historic estate.

The festival is an initiative of a collective of award-winning floral designers who aim to connect floral design with historic sites. Each edition focuses on a different location, with the surroundings serving as the starting point for the designs.

Participants in the Hodsock Priory edition include Floral Media, Acacia Creative Studio, and Jade Loftus Floral Design. Helen & Laura Pannitt and Ewa Wang from Shanghai have been announced as guest designers.
