Tulip Festival opens with christening of NEMO tulip

The Tulip Festival Amsterdam 2025 festively opened on March 27 with the christening of a new tulip: the NEMO Tulip. The roof of the NEMO Science Museum has been a permanent festival location since 2015.

In April, hundreds of thousands of tulips will color the city as part of Amsterdam's 750th anniversary. There will be tulips on display at nearly a hundred spots in all parts of the city - from bridges and shopping malls to public gardens.
