Together2Grow, the grower of more than 25 high-quality Alstroemeria varieties within Decorum, is further expanding its sustainable initiatives with the introduction of recycled covers.
With 30 million stems a year and a strong focus on collaboration, quality and sustainability, Bernard, Fedor and Robin prove that innovation and nature go hand in hand.
The company is taking ambitious steps towards 2025: from applying insect netting for chemical-free cultivation and Full LED lighting, to an upcoming geothermal heat project. With these measures, opting for recycle covers is a logical step in Together2Grow's strategy.
Part of the Charm assortment, will be the first to shine in these new, environmentally friendly sleeves. Charm is a line within Decorum, inspired by one of the longest lasting Alstroemeria's, the Charmelia.
The sleeves are produced by packaging supplier Horse Copper. The Recy Clear sleeves are crystal clear, fully printable and made from recycled plastic waste (rOPP35 70%).
"We are reducing our environmental impact by demonstrably making our assortment more sustainable and by developing smart, circular packaging, packaging systems and services. We are working to improve our footprint, both of the organization and the supply chain'' said Chris Thurston, Account Manager at the supplier.
Together2Grow thus gives a clear message: Together we grow to a greener world!
