On Tuesday, June 3, the Dutch Lily Days 2025 will open at De Jong Lelies in Andijk, which is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year. During the official opening, special attention will be paid to the sustainability of the lily sector in a changing social and political context. Former LTO chairman Sjaak van der Tak will give a speech on the challenges and opportunities for the sector.
De Jong Lelies is active in breeding, cultivation, preparation, and export of lily bulbs. With their international focus, they form a suitable starting point for the four-day trade days. From June 3 to 6, thirteen leading lily companies will open their doors to industry colleagues from home and abroad.
International meeting place
During the Dutch Lily Days, professionals from the sector come together to view innovations and exchange knowledge. This year's edition highlights, among other things, social pressure on the agricultural and horticultural sector, and how the lily sector is proactively responding to this.
