On Tuesday, June 3, Dutch Lily Days 2025 will open at De Jong Lelies in Andijk, which is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year. During the official opening, special attention will be paid to the future sustainability of the lily sector in a changing social and political context. Former LTO chairman Sjaak van der Tak will give a speech about the challenges and opportunities for the sector.
De Jong Lilies is active in breeding, cultivation, preparation and export of lily bulbs. With their international focus, they are a fitting starting point for the four-day trade days. From June 3 to 6, thirteen leading lily companies will open their doors to fellow professionals from home and abroad.
International meeting place
During the Dutch Lily Days, industry professionals come together to view innovations and exchange knowledge. This year's edition highlights, among other things, societal pressures on the agri- and floriculture sector, and how the lily sector is proactively responding to them.
