British Flowers Week 2025: floral art and British floriculture in the spotlight

From June 2nd to 7th, the Garden Museum in London will be in bloom during British Flowers Week. Six leading floral designers will take over the museum with floral installations that highlight the power of locally grown flowers and creative craftsmanship. The works are inspired by the new exhibition Cecil Beaton’s Garden Party, which focuses on Beaton’s love for flowers and gardens.

The installations are specially designed for the museum's 14th-century, monumental building. A special Late Night session will take place on Thursday evening, June 5, including a panel discussion with the designers about their work and the future of the profession.

Meet the floral designers of 2025:

Leigh Chappell grew up on the rugged coast of Wales and worked in graphic design before dedicating herself entirely to floral art. Her style is poetic and closely connected to nature.

Yeon Hee Lee combines her South Korean background with London influences. She experiments with pressed flowers and mixed media, and teaches at the London Flower School.

Palais London is the creative studio of Emma Weaver, where floral art, set design, and sculpture come together in imaginative and colorful installations.

Arthur Parkinson is a floral designer, author, and passionate gardener. His work revolves around seasonal flowers, sustainability, and a quirky, nostalgic style.

Rollo Skinner is a botanical set designer and founder of Studio Rollo. His work is personal and nature-driven, with projects for Gucci and ELLE Decoration, among others.

Wild at Heart, led by Nikki Tibbles, has been a household name in luxury floral design for 25 years. Known for their dramatic style and storytelling through flowers, as seen at Liberty London, among others.
