Exclusive 2-day Masterclasses with Gregor Lersch

This spring, the Boerma Institute offers a special opportunity: two intensive masterclasses led by master florist Gregor Lersch. Both programs are aimed at florists who want to deepen their professional knowledge and sharpen their technique.
Masterclass 1: Bouquets in New Ways

Dates: April 29 and 30, 2025

During this two-day masterclass, the bouquet as a form takes center stage — but in an innovative way. Under the guidance of Gregor Lersch, you will work on:

  • Frame Bouquets: Learn how to strengthen floral work with supporting structures, both technically and visually.
  • Standing Bouquets: Design bouquets that stand on their own — suitable for modern presentations and special occasions.

Gregor Lersch shares techniques and insights developed by himself and other master florists. The focus is on form, balance, and exploring new boundaries within the traditional bouquet.

Masterclass 2: Floristry without compromise – 100% biodegradable

Dates: May 1 and 2, 2025

Sustainability is playing an increasingly important role in the floral industry. In this masterclass, you will develop floral designs using exclusively biodegradable materials. Topics covered include:

  • Working with fully compostable and environmentally friendly materials
  • Designs that combine sustainability and aesthetics
  • New techniques that can be directly applied in practice

This masterclass offers concrete tools for those who want to work consciously and with a future focus, without compromising on quality or appearance.
