International interest confirms FlowerTrials as top global event

With approximately 5,000 visitors from more than 90 countries, the edition of FlowerTrials 2025 emphatically positioned itself as the international platform for pot and bedding plants. Spread across central and southern Netherlands, professionals from the global floriculture sector toured the stands of 56 breeders to learn about innovations in plant genetics and new commercial concepts.
The average number of locations visited per visitor increased to six this year. Because many breeders presented their assortment together, the average visitor saw about 14 exhibitors. This made room not only for viewing the familiar offerings, but also for new genetics and fresh inspiration.

Marjolein Kuyucu-Lodder, chairman of the FlowerTrials committee, speaks of a confirmation of the international character of the event: "The mix of nationalities that traveled through the regions last week was impressive. FlowerTrials has become the place to be for everyone who works professionally with potted and bedding plants. In addition, I see that visitors are more actively visiting multiple locations - this encourages knowledge exchange and innovation within the sector."

The 2025 edition excelled in presentation power. Exhibitors paid visible attention to translating their varieties into practical concepts, ready for the consumer. Think eye-catching retail displays, combined container plantings, innovative color combinations and social media-friendly marketing ideas.

FlowerTrials 2026 takes place June 9-12.
