Memory in Bloom: hands-on mourning flower arrangement workshop with Pascal Zijlmans
On Monday, June 30, 2025 Florazon Venlo organizes the hands-on workshop Memory in Bloom, especially for florists who want to learn more about mourning floral arrangements. Under the guidance of Pascal Zijlmans (Ambianze Bloem), participants will learn how to design floral arrangements for farewell and loss in a respectful and personal way.
The workshop covers the entire process: from the first customer contact at a vulnerable moment to the creation of appropriate mourning or consolation bouquets. Zijlmans shows how transparent pricing and sincere attention can result in floral arrangements that really mean something - classic or lovely, bold or subdued, colorful or sober.
In addition, Judith Rosema (Het Inkt Atelier) will give a short demonstration on how memories can be made tangible on paper. Nature Cemetery De Zwingel shares insights about natural burials and the role florists can play in them.
