'Displacement' training by Pauline Arkesteijn at Floral Academy

Arkesteijn, working under the name Pien Flowers, has been in the floral industry for more than 26 years. She took various courses at home and abroad and graduated in 2023 from the International Master Florist Education under the direction of Gregor Lersch. She also took master classes with Hanneke Frankema and Bart Hassam, among others. She is currently immersing herself in floral design through EMC (European Master Certification) and AIFD (American Institute of Floral Designers).

During the seminar on April 30, participants will work on a summer piece built around an iron wire construction and finished with a minimalist floral arrangement. Participants will bring their own tools, including a screw or drill press and combination pliers.

Masterclass in Christmas Design on Dec. 4

For those who want to plan ahead towards the holidays, Pien Flowers is hosting a Christmas workshop on December 4 in the theme of Christmas Design. We will work with a cork base, Christmas decorations, wire techniques and evergreens.
