Celebrate Spring: knowledge and inspiration event for florists

Congress 'Improve your earning model'
From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., the congress 'Improve your earning model' will take place in Plantion's auction hall. Speakers will discuss from different angles how florists can improve their profitability. Topics include pricing strategy, efficiency and customer experience.

• Daniël Pinkse (Royal FloraHolland) discusses how a well-regulated cash register can contribute to better sales results.
• Albert Haveman demonstrates how florists use the Floral Profit app to keep a grip on their margins and easily compile price lists.
• Tessa Blanken (Paardekooper, Bloom beej Tess) asks whether florists can pass on additional costs for packaging and what the impact is.
• Chris Martens (Smithers-Oasis) presented Smithers-Oasis' sustainability strategy, including the new OASIS Renewal Floral Foam, a plant-based floral foam with biobased certification.
• Bram Rijkers (VBW) explains how VBW supports its members financially with a personal entrepreneurial budget in 2025.
• Chantal Riedeman (Business Blijmakers) closed with an interactive session on customer experience and customer retention.

Workshops and booths
Starting at 6:30 p.m., Plantion Wholesale Center will host workshops on such topics as yield improvement, packaging and sustainable floral foam products. On the square are stands of different companies and the vending machine Bloem-O-Maat is demonstrated. In cooperation with Anthurium Info a trend presentation will be set up. Purchasing from various vendors is possible until 9:30 p.m.
