SIDAI: Where breeding and photography come together

The meeting between artist Ellen Korth and Peter van de Pol, director of Schoneveld Breeding, resulted in a special exhibition in which two disciplines come together: flower seed breeding and photography. Out of mutual appreciation for craftsmanship and creativity, the exhibition Sidai - Swahili for 'beauty' - was created. The exhibition features sophisticated plant portraits printed on Japanese Kozo-Washi paper. Each portrait is a carefully crafted work of art focusing on the aesthetics of nature.
